Poem-Mobiles Crazy Car Poems

Poem-Mobiles Crazy Car Poems

Author: J. Patrick Lewis and Douglas Florian
Illustrator: Jeremy Holmes
Genre: Poetry
Ages or Grade: 2nd grade and up

This poem is about cars. It is imaginative and the poems are really unique and creative. The illustration is really nice and the poems are so creative that both reading and seeing the illustrations make you imagine it in real life. The poems are really short and each page consists of 2 poems. My favorite poem from the book is the High Heel Car because it reminds me of the lady who lives in a shoe, but in this poem book it has a twist and it is modern.

I will definitely have this in the bookshelf for students to read. I will also read this aloud to them during breaks or morning message for it is so unique. I have to say this is one of my favorite poem books because of its uniqueness and its word simplicity. It is easy to understand and it gives you insight of what the poem is talking about. It is a very creative book due to its illustrations and words.

He started crossing, and people started noticing him from below. Police called and tried to stop his act but Philippe just played and performed. After his act/performance, he was then taken to court and was sentenced to perform in the park for children. He enjoyed it and made the people amazed by his performance. I would recommend this book because it is unique and the design...
