It is a book that gives you a whole different perspective on life and the people around you. The book is about a boy named August, nicknamed Auggie, who has a deformed face due to countless surgeries and his birth defect. He had been homeschooled in his early years but his parents, especially his mom, decided to let him experience and go to an actual school where he will have classmates and a variety of teachers. Auggies journey, of course, has a lot of downs but throughout the book, his ups through his journey in 5 th grade's the greatest.
